I have mentioned Petes HO scale layout of this location in a previous post in my blog Burrowa. I made the trip to see Williamsdale on 03/08/2017 to view the progress he has made, and it was a surprise to see so much has happened since my last visit. The track plan is of a main line and a siding and the standard of work Pete has put into creating this working diorama is in my opinion very high, down to the “Kelly” axe on the woodpile made from scrap nickle silver which is made based on the real thing. There are a few details left to the buildings to finish them also the newly added LED lighting attached to the back of the pelmet is a great idea and gives good even light. The next step maybe would be a 3 road fiddle yard at each end so Pete would get his fix moving and shunting trains to his hearts content.
